A 2-0 victory over Chiefs in the consolidation final of the Oceania Closed Qualifier secured ORDER a place at the Asia Minor.
Alistair "aliStair" Johnston and co. reached the upper-bracket final of the regional qualifier on the first day of competition, but suffered a 2-1 loss to Renegades who went on to secure the first Minor slot reserved for teams from Oceania. However, ORDER bounced back in the lower-bracket of the qualifier and punched their ticket for the Minor in Brazil.
After a defeat to Rooster in their opening match, Chiefs made an impressive lower-bracket run, defeating Skyfire, AVANT, and Ground Zero to reach the consolidation final. In the deciding BO3 against ORDER, Hugh "HUGH" Anderson's men didn't get off to a good start, managing just one round on the T side of their map pick, Nuke. ORDER converted the 14-1 lead into a 16-1 win, moving on to Train which was a much tighter contested map.
Chiefs managed a 7-3 start on the CT side of the map, but Karlo "USTILO" Pivac's team managed two more rounds before the end of the half to finish it with a 10-5 scoreline. The gap was narrowed after the switch as they claimed the CT pistol (10-7), but Chiefs did not falter and powered on with rifles to reach 13 rounds. As the map was slipping away, ORDER stabilized their defenses and went on a nine-round winning streak to close out the map 16-13 and take the series 2-0.
